The Challenge
Trojan Construction Group was engaged to renovate an existing residential property, with works required across the structural, external and internal areas of the home.
The project involved addressing existing damage while improving the functionality, durability and overall finish of the property. The scope required coordination across multiple trades, including carpentry, electrical, flooring, painting and external works.
The Works
Trojan Construction Group completed a range of structural and external upgrades, including the removal of the existing slab and construction of a new concrete driveway and foundation. The carport was rebuilt with new timber framing and a Colorbond roof, while cobblestone paving and stonework were restored. Downpipes were also connected to the stormwater system.
Internally, damaged balcony timbers were replaced with Blue Gum hardwood, engineered timber flooring was installed on the lower level and the existing timber staircase was restored and refinished.
Electrical works included a new switchboard, upgraded lighting and power, relocated external wiring, and new lighting to the awnings and outdoor areas.
The rear Accoya timber bifold and hinged doors were also replaced to improve functionality while maintaining the character of the home.
The project was completed with water damage repairs, replacement of a ground floor window, new carpet to the upper level and staircase, and a full internal repaint.
